Meet Fatine

Fatine Bousfiha is the founder of Bousfiha Law Firm and has more than 10 years of experience in the field of immigration law. Her immigration career began in 2013, when she joined a boutique immigration law firm in Brooklyn as a Head Paralegal, handling a wide range of immigration matters, including marriage-based green cards, deportation and removal cases, asylum, and Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases.

Fatine earned her Juris Doctor from Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 2020, where she was named to the Dean’s List for four of her six semesters. During law school, she gained extensive hands-on experience as a student attorney with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) Domestic Violence Clinic, where she worked with survivors of domestic violence, including VAWA clients, and helped victims obtain orders of protection. She also worked at John Jay Legal Services, Immigration Clinic, where she represented detained clients in bond hearings and individual immigration hearings under a student practice order.

After becoming an attorney in 2021, Fatine founded her own practice and has continued to represent clients in immigration and family court matters. From June 2023 through June 2025, she also served as a Supervising Attorney at the NYC Asylum Application Help Center, one of the largest pro bono immigration initiatives in the country.

To date, Fatine has helped clients file more than 3,500 immigration applications and petitions, including asylum applications, marriage-based green cards, Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) applications, naturalization applications, and other immigration filings. She remains dedicated to helping families reunite, assisting clients in obtaining lawful status, and defending individuals facing removal from the United States.
